Penn State Board of Trustees approves $700M Beaver Stadium renovation project
The Penn State Board of Trustees has approved the $700M Beaver Stadium renovations project. During a meeting on Tuesday, the Finance, Business & Capital planning committee approved the project in a 6-1 vote following a brief presentation. The board then approved the project 26-2 with three abstaining about 90 minutes after the meeting began.
Gov. Shapiro: Main Street Program to revitalize downtown Lewistown
Governor Josh Shapiro visited Downtown Lewistown to announce funding opportunities in the 25-26 proposed budget. The new program is called the Main Street Program, which is designed to support our downtown cores and surrounding neighborhoods with tools to create healthy, vibrant, and welcoming communities. Funding is available to support revitalization efforts in planning, business support, aesthetic improvements, and the increase of safety and security.
State Championship 2020
In the middle of COVID, the whole world was unsure of what was gonna happen. This was specific for high school sports teams as no one even thought there would be a season, especially with no collegiate sports happening. For the high school season to happen and to get to the State Championship games was something no one would have thought to happen.
