Changing A Club

The Lock Haven University television club was struggling for a while and with COVID, and a new professor, we have been able to bring it back to life. When I was asked to do a weekly show I was completely on board and with COVID we decided to do it virtually. There were just a few of us but we made it work. We are now on episode 26 and we even started doing it face to face. Not only are we doing it in person but the club as a whole has grown. We are up to 18 members in the club after it just being a few of us months ago.

Philidelphia

This past Spring (2020) my company decided to send reporters and photographers to Philadelphia for the Spring football season. For six weeks a few of us traveled to Philadelphia every weekend to cover games. The most amazing part was some of the stories we got out of it. This included a female athlete from Kensington, who is now playing for Temple. Also, a young man who lost his leg at a young age playing completely with a prosthetic leg. Being able to write those stories and the huge amount of praise we got for covering Philadelphia football from coaches and fans was an experience I'll never forget.

Opportunity

One of my best success stories comes from Pafootballnews. When I entered college in the Fall of 2018 I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do. I was at my former high school's football game and my boss, Billy Splain offered me an Internship. After the Fall season, Billy said that I did really well and offered me a job. I am now one of the top Pafootballnews members and have been there since the Fall of 2018 writing articles and doing many other things for the company.
